June M. Moeckel of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania died Thursday, April 27, 2017 at her home. She was 90 years old. June was born August 24, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Robert Borlase and the late Marion Borlase (nee - Marshall). She is the beloved wife of the late Fred W. Moeckel.

June was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia, where she graduated from Olney High School in the city. During her working career she was a secretary for Sears, Roebuck and Company on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia for 13 years. Although originally from the Olney area of Philadelphia, June and her husband Fred were residents of Huntingdon Valley, PA since 1953. In their leisure time they enjoyed boating and raising their pet dogs, Beau and Brett, and they were longtime members of the Crescentville United Methodist Church in the Lawndale section Philadelphia. Fred passed away in 2005.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 9:30 A.M. and funeral service at 10:30 A.M. at Crescentville United Methodist Church, 412 East Sentner Street, Philadelphia, PA 19120. Her graveside service followed at William Penn Cemetery, 13041 Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19116.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Randy Brubaker from Crescentville United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Salvation Army, 701 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123 or Montgomery County SPCA, 1006 Edge Hill Road, Abington, PA 19001.
