James Raudenbush of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania died Monday, July 31, 2017 at Keystone House. He was 73 years old. James was born November 25, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late John Raudenbush and the late Catherine Raudenbush (nee - Dobuzowski). He is the beloved father of Donna Hegge and her husband Timothy and Christine Raudenbush; grandfather of Ian and Kara Hegge; brother of Mary McMullan and her husband William, Ruth Munter and her husband Richard, Joan Smedley and her husband J. Scott, Carol Maloney and her husband Glenn, and Gail Raudenbush and her husband, the late Jack Raudenbush. He is also survived by a loving extended family and friends.
James was raised and educated for most of his early life in Philadelphia, graduating from Hatboro-Horsham High School when his family moved to the Montgomery County area in his senior year. In 1965, James was drafted into the United States Army and was honorably discharged after several years of service to his country. For a short period prior to his military service, and then for the rest of his working career, James worked in various positions with PECO and retired after 34 years with them. In his free time, James was known to family and friends to be the go-to handyman. He created and refinished tables and other furniture, and was an avid landscaper at his own home. James also took a great deal of joy in participating in the lives of his grandchildren.
