Ada S. Nuss of Lansdale, Pennsylvania died Sunday, September 24, 2017 at her home. She was 85 years old. Ada was born August 23, 1932 in Abington, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Edwin T. Scarborough and the late Ada Scarborough (nee - Haldeman). She is the beloved wife of the late George W. Nuss, Jr.; preceded in death by her son Thomas James Nuss; mother of Kathryn Coyle and her husband Michael, George W. Nuss III and his wife Doris, Margaret Fitzgerald and her husband James, Jennifer Nuss, and Jeffrey Nuss and his wife Tammie; grandmother of Patrick and his wife Mitty and Sean Coyle, Emily, Benjamin and his wife Leslie, and Bryan Nuss, Tiffany, Christine, and Jimmy Fitzgerald, and Sarah, Rachel and Caleb Nuss; great grandmother of Naomi Nuss; sister of William Scarborough, Edwin Thomas Scarborough, Sarah “Sally” Heavener, and the late Ruth Ann Hager.

Ada was a 1950 graduate of Doylestown High School. Ada was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the Willow Grove Bible Church of The Christian and Missionary Alliance for many years. Ada was a social planner, she hosted card games regularly, enjoyed traveling with her husband, cooking, crafting, jamming, and canning.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Her graveside service followed at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Kenneth Barkley from Willow Grove Bible Church of The Christian and Missionary Alliance, 212 Everett Avenue, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
