Anthony E. "Tony" Griffith of Lancaster, Pennsylvania died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was 71 years old. Tony was born October 21, 1946 in Farmville, Virginia, son of the late Elmer Leroy Griffith and the late Virginia Louise Griffith (nee - Hicks). He is the beloved husband of Linda (nee Staley) Griffith; father of Amy Gaddini and her husband Nick, Heidi MacNaughton and her husband Brett, Scott Griffith and his wife Jenna, and Kaitlin Griffith; grandfather of Evan and Abbie Gaddini; brother of Janie Greene and her husband the late Lew and Dolly Phaup and her husband Donald.
Tony and Linda met at church through mutual friends at Grace Baptist Church in Lancaster, PA. They were married July 19, 1975 at Grace Baptist. They raised their family in Lancaster.
Tony was a realtor in the Lancaster area for many years. In his youth he was an avid golfer and hunter. He played guitar and was in a band during high school. Tony was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and enjoyed attending games with his family. He was a true steward of his faith and was involved in the Gideons Ministry.
Services were private.
