John F. Dustman of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Friday, November 10, 2017 at VITAS - Nazareth Hospital. He was 88 years old. John was born January 14, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Arthur Dustman Sr. and the late Helen Dustman (nee - O’Hara). He is the beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Donahue) Dustman; father of Marie Dustman and Shawn Dustman and his wife Janet; grandfather of Megan Dustman; brother of Arthur Dustman Jr. and his wife the late Mary.

John was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia where he attended Jules E. Mastbaum Area Vocational Technical School. John served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He met Marie Donahue at a dance and the two were married at their home parish of St. Martin of Tours on September 17, 1955. They raised their family in the Oxford Circle section of the city. John was a Union Carpenter with local #158 and served as maintenance for St. Martin of Tours for many years. He was a member of St. Martin of Tours Senior Citizens and the Holy Names Society. In his free time he was a photographer and DJ, he loved music and animals.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. and funeral service at 8:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
