Tina Marie Wolferd Sholomskas of Holland, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 61 years old. Tina was born May 4, 1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Llewellyn Wolferd and the late Evelyn Wolferd (nee - Walthes). She is the beloved wife of Martin D. Sholomskas; mother of Matthew Sholomskas and Leslee Sholomskas; sister of Kathy Dolan and her husband Thomas; Sister in law of Dr. Alan J. Sholomskas and his wife Dr. Diane, and Gail Wolf-Patchell and her husband David.

Tina was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia. She was a 1974 graduate of Frankford High School and continued her education at Penn State Ogontz and Temple Ambler where she received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Tina worked as a bookkeeper and in customer service for Schrage Shipping Containers for 14 years. She met Martin while on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ. The two fell in love and were married June 17, 1979 at Bethany United Church of Christ in the Lawndale section of Philadelphia. They raised their family in Holland, PA.

Tina was a talented singer and was lead singer for “Tina and the Teenettes” entertaining people at various venues in PA and NJ. She was extremely artistic and showed this through her painting, calligraphy, cross stitch, and needlepoint. In her free time she also loved to garden, maintaining her flowers and shrubbery. She will be greatly missed by those who love her.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Gloria Dei Church, 570 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Interment was held privately.

Religious services was conducted by Rev. James Goodyear, Jr. from Gloria Dei Church.

Donations may be made in her memory to Bott Cancer Center at Holy Redeemer Hospital - Breast Cancer, Holy Redeemer Health System Development Department, 521 Moredon Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
