Frank J. Borek of Richboro, Pennsylvania died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at home with his family. He was 84 years old.  Frank was born December 10, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late John and Catherine (nee - Krupczak) Borek. He is the beloved husband of Joanne Borek (nee - Miller); father of Frankie Borek (deceased), Bernie Borek and his wife Lori, Christina Murphy and her husband Lawrence, Heather Konen and her late husband Louis, Elizabeth Francis and her husband Robert, and Diana Ecker and her husband Matthew; grandfather of Lydia, Colin, Tyler, Michael, Beckham, Grayson, Lincoln, Crawford, Grace, Leo, and Olivia; brother of Jean Granko; also survived by his large extended family.

Frank was one of 11 children. He was raised and educated in Philadelphia where he graduated from St. Ladislaus School in 1952. After graduating, Frank went to work at John Morrell and Company, a meat packing plant in the city. Several years later, Morrell and Company moved their operations out of Philadelphia forcing Frank to look for new employment that would allow him to stay in his neighborhood. He learned from one of his brothers-in-law that the railroad was hiring and took a job as a conductor with the Reading Railroad. Frank stayed with the company through ownership changes to Conrail and finally SEPTA. He retired on February 8, 2004.

Frank and Joanne were married for 42 years and are longtime members of the New Apostolic Church. He loved the outdoors, especially spending time gardening and tending to his lawn. Frank was very handy and over the years worked to improve the family home through researching and constructing his own deck, installing wood floors, a new kitchen floor, and so much more. He was a man of habit and always paid close attention to detail in his work. Frank loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time building memories whenever possible.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. and memorial service at 8:00 P.M. at New Apostolic Church - Bucks County, 404 Pine Run Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to NAC-USA Youth Development, LLC, 804 Meadowood Lane, Warminster, PA 18974.
