David F. Patete of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Oakwood Residence. He was 65 years old. David was born February 3, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Alfred Patete and the late Mary Jean Patete (nee - Shields). He is the brother of Diane Patete and the late Donald Patete and his wife Betty; uncle of Donald, Jr., Elliot, Emily, and Valerie Patete; great uncle of Ryan and Giovanni Patete; he is also survived by a loving extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. and funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. His graveside service followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Owen Griffiths.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Philadelphia Police Memorial Musuem, 1218 North Napfle Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
