Patricia H. "Pat" Rathbun of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. She was 79 years old. Pat was born August 30, 1938 in Helga Township, Minnesota, daughter of the late Henry B. Hensinger and the late Mary M. Hensinger. She is the beloved wife of the late Rodney George Rathbun; mother of Robert H. Rathbun and his wife Elizabeth, Andrew G. Rathbun and his wife Dawn, and Jack R. Rathbun and his wife Denise; grandmother of Tom Gordon, Chris Gordon, Scott Rathbun, Kerstin Rathbun, and Erin Rathbun; sister of Esther Citron and her husband the late Al, Cliff Pensyl and his wife Margie, and the late Madge Trickey and her husband Dick.

Pat was a graduate of Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA and continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania Nursing School. She worked as a surgical nurse at Warren Hospital in Philipsburg, NJ and later for the Lynch Home in Willow Grove, PA. Pat and Rodney were married on Thanksgiving Day in 1961. They were active members of First Presbyterian Church in Willow Grove where Pat served as a Deacon. She enjoyed her time with her church community, especially the Hilltoppers. Pat was socially active and loved traveling with friends and family, walking and gardening, sharing meals with friends, attending concerts and shows. She enjoyed trying new things and was a life-long learner.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. and memorial service at 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Interment will be private.

Religious services will be conducted by Dr. John Schmidt.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 555 Croton Road, Suite 111, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
