Marcella E. "Marcy" Juliani of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Friday, April 13, 2018 at Albert Einstein Medical Center. She was 86 years old. Marcy was born April 18, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Edward Richard LaBar and the late Eunice Marguerite LaBar (nee - Downs). She is the beloved wife of 60 years of the late Leonard A. Juliani; mother of Patrice Juliani and Len Juliani, Jr. and his wife Mary Ellen; grandmother of Len Juliani, III and his wife Gabrielle and Sarah Lynn Juliani; great grandmother of Katherine Elizabeth and Michael Anthony Juliani; sister of Edwina LaBar. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Marcy was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia, PA. She was a graduate of Murrell Dobbins Vocational High School and worked at a manicurist for many years. Marcy was an active member of St. Williams Seniors and the Kensington-Kadosh Commandery No. 54 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed line dancing, especially with her dear friend Frank. One of Marcy’s greatest joys was spending time on her houseboat on the Bohemia River in Maryland.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. Relatives and friends were also invited to her viewing on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 8:30 to 9:45 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. William Church, 6200 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Her graveside service followed at Northwood Cemetery, 1501 Haines Street, Philadelphia, PA 19126.
