Karl Loewe of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He was 92 years old. Karl was born July 28, 1929 in Grosswaltersdorf (Großwaltersdorf), Germany, son of the late Oskar Loewe and the late Frieda Loewe (nee - Hauck). He is the beloved husband of the late Ruth Loewe, Father of Rosemarie Burke and her husband Thomas; Grandfather of Erika Rocheleau and her husband Jeff, James Burke, and Daniel Burke and his wife Hanna; great grandfather of Jasen Rocheleau and Austin Rocheleau.
He was a member of the Vereinigung Erzgebirge.
Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 11:30 A.M. and funeral service at 12:30 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. His graveside service followed at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 West County Line Road, Feasterville, PA 19053.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Jane Marston from Tabor Lutheran Church, 4860 North Howard Street, Philadelphia, PA 19120.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Philadelphia Protestant Home Benevolent Fund, 6401 Martins Mill Road, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
