William Wrubel of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Philadelphia Protestant Home. He was 94 years old. William was born August 14, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late John F. Wrubel and the late Mary Wrubel (nee - Hrszko). He is the beloved husband of the late Christine Wrubel; brother of the late Mary Winterberg, the late Metro Wrubel, the late Walter Wrubel, the late Ann Sanborn, and the late Michael Wrubel. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

After schooling, Bill joined the Merchant Marines. He was a truck driver during his working career with Hemingway, ABF, and Preston.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. His graveside service followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Wilson Bever, Lead Pastor from Berachah Church, 400 Ashbourne Road, Cheltenham, PA 19012.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, Suite 250, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
