Frank Enderle of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at his residence. He was 90 years old. Frank was born March 7, 1924, the son of the late Frank Enderle Sr. and the late Elisabeth Enderle (nee - Halm). He is the beloved husband of Adelheid Enderle; father of Frank H. Enderle and his wife Maureen, and Heidi Flanagan and her husband Tim; grandfather of Caitlin, Courtney, and Shane Enderle, and James, Timothy, and Katherine Flanagan.

Frank was born, raised, and educated in Cleveland, Ohio. He was very active in the Boy Scouts in Cleveland where he became an Eagle Scout. After graduation from high school he was inducted into the United States Army on June 22, 1943 and served with the 3873rd Quartermaster Gas Supply Company in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater during World War II. Frank was honorably discharged from the service on February 26, 1946 after reaching the rank of Sergeant. After the war he worked for many years as a salesman for the Sears and Roebuck Company. He was active in Boy Scout Troop 321 at Presentation B.V.M. Church, with the Donauschwaben Club, and with the United German Hungarians Club. In his leisure time he and his wife enjoyed going on cruises and they have traveled around the world, most recently to Ireland. They have been residents of the Lawndale section of Philadelphia and have been members of Presentation Parish since 1955.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Presentation B. V. M. Church, 100 Old Soldiers Road at Woodland Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19012, where his Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:00 A.M. by Fr. William Harrison, pastor of Presentation Parish. Military Honors were rendered by members of the Unites States Army Honor Guard at 11:00 A.M. at the church. The burial was private.
