Doris M. Motter of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania died Friday, April 29, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 95 years old. Doris was born June 12, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Russell C. MacNamee and the late Elizabeth G. MacNamee (nee - Oschmann).
She is the beloved wife of Donald G. Motter (married 73 years), sister of the late Russell MacNamee and proud mother of three daughters, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She so loved:
Donna Jones, her husband Greg and their children, Andrew Kreitschmann, Jonathan Kreitschmann, Elizabeth Jones and Emmett Erwin (great grandchildren Luke, Emmett, Samantha), Brian and Tori Jones (great grandchildren Chloe, Nicholas, Mateo) and Elizabeth Kreitschmann; Dawn Murphy, her husband Bob and their sons and spouses, Christopher and Christina Murphy (great grandchildren Graham, Nolan, William), Daniel Murphy and Danielka Zeledón, and Donald and Annie Murphy (great grandchild James); Diane Motter and son Jesse Adelsberger.
Doris is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews and their families. There was always much to celebrate at the Motter home and Doris happily created a center of caring and togetherness for her family and friends. We already miss her so much.
Relatives and friends were invited to her memorial service on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Presbyterian Church, 444 Old York Road at Vista Road, Jenkintown, PA 19046. A reception in the church hall will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Grace Presbyterian Church, 444 Old York Road, Jenkintown, PA 19046 or to a charity of your choice.
