Katharina Leisch of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Philadelphia Protestant Home. She was 85 years old. Katharina was born March 13, 1936 in Deutsch-Zerne, Yugoslavia, daughter of the late Nikolaus Tabar and the late Susanna Tabar (nee - Schmidt). She is the mother of Katherine Lavelle. Grandmother of Joseph Nikolaus Klingler. Sister of the late Anna Mandl.
Katharina was born and raised in Deutsch Zerne, Yugoslavia. She moved to Austria in 1947 and was taught her trade as a pattern maker in the clothing manufacturing field. She emigrated to the United States in 1955. She worked as a pattern maker for the Mothers Work Company.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. and funeral service at 2:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. Her graveside service followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
