Doris E. Weiskopf of Lansdale, Pennsylvania died Monday, January 9, 2023 at Elm Terrace Gardens. She was 94 years old. Doris was born October 21, 1928 in Paterson, New Jersey, daughter of the late Wilhelm Ermisch and the late Freda Ermisch (nee - Yeagle). She is the beloved wife of the late John Weiskopf; mother of Joanne Welsh and her husband William, John Weiskopf, and Kristen Paterson and her husband Alexander; grandmother of Christopher Mecca, Matthew Welsh, Jill Noga, Hilary Butala, Rebecca Young, Julie Gawronski, and Graham Paterson. She also has seven great-grandchildren, and an eighth on the way. Doris was preceded in death by her brothers Howard "Red" Ermisch and Edward Ermisch.

Doris graduated from Olney High School. Throughout her career, she worked for Bell Telephone and the Council Rock School district as an Administrative Assistant. Doris and her late husband John were active in the Hermann Lodge and attended many events with their children and grandchildren. Doris was also very active in her church and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Southampton and Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansdale. She sang in both church choirs. Doris was also a member of the Bucks County Chorus. In addition to singing, Doris loved to dance. At every wedding, lodge event, or party, you could find her on the dance floor.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. and memorial service at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1000 West Main Street, Lansdale, PA 19446.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation - Greater Delaware Valley Chapter, 610-664-9255, 555 Croton Road, Suite 111, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
