Ruth H. Meinhart of Hatboro, Pennsylvania died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was 91 years old. Ruth was born May 11, 1923 in Essen, Germany, daughter of the late Herman Selbach and his wife the late Theresa Selbach. She is the beloved wife of the late Robert P. Meinhart, Sr. Mother of Robert Meinhart, Jr. and his wife Kathleen and Raymond Meinhart and his wife Mary Ann. Grandmother of Sarah Meinhart, David Meinhart, Andrew Meinhart, Joanna Suprock and her husband Christopher, and Tara Nash and her husband Brad. Great grandmother of Colin Nash, Hannah Nash, Kelsie Miller, and Benjamin Suprock.

Ruth immigrated to the United States in 1927 with her parents. They initially moved to the family farm in Utah before moving to Philadelphia, PA. Ruth attended Upper Moreland High School. Ruth and Robert married March 4, 1943 at Willow Grove United Methodist Church. They raised their family in Glenside and later in East Oreland, PA. Ruth was a member of SAUDC. She loved to do crafts especially making Christmas ornaments, knitting, and needlepoint.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. and memorial service at 11:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
