Joseph Klimek of Langhorne, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was 90 years old. Joseph was born April 7, 1932 in Pine Hill, New Jersey, during the great depression where his parents, the late Joseph Klimek and the late Helen Klimek (nee - Pastor), owned a grocery store that hardly made a living until they moved to Philadelphia. Their lives improved there. His mother operated a beauty salon and his father became a manufacturing manager for a furniture company.
Joseph graduated from Northeast High School in 1950. He was drafted into the United States Army in January 1953 and was stationed in Uijongbu Korea. After his discharge in 1955, he returned and married the love of his life Magdalene. He enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania and received a degree in mechanical engineering in 1959.
He had a great career in management with several companies located in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Travel was a big part of his agenda and afforded him and his family special occasions to enjoy much of the United States and Europe. He had a great life with a loving family and wonderful friends.
He is the beloved husband of 66 years of Magdalene “Lynn” (nee Lesch) Klimek; father of Joseph Klimek and his wife Danielle and Karen Beagle and her husband the late Harry; grandfather of Dominique, Genevieve, Elise, and Joelle Klimek and Kenneth and his wife the late Xaviera and Joseph and his wife Amber Beagle; great grandfather of Joseph and Michael Beagle.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. and memorial service at 11:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to American Heart Association-American Stroke Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
