Katherine “Dolly” Cramutolo of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Manor Care Huntingdon Valley. She was 97 years old. Katherine was born July 25, 1922 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Francis Maurone and the late Elsie Maurone (nee - DeSanto). She is the beloved wife of the late Salvatore “Sam” Cramutolo; mother of Thomas Cramutolo and his wife Sue, John Cramutolo, Maria Mullen and her husband Kevin, Mark Cramutolo, and the late Bruce Cramutolo; grandmother of Nick, Tim, Aimee, and Chris Mullen, and Michael Cramutolo and his wife Jennifer, and Payton Cramutolo; great grandmother of Jeremy, Jameson, Gabriella, and Freya.
Katherine graduated from Philadelphia High School for Girls in 1940. Before her marriage to Sam, Katherine worked at the Curtis Publishing Company in Philadelphia. After her children were grown she worked at the Burpee Seed Company. She enjoyed reading and sewing in her free time.
Services were private at the family request.
