Frances A. Schoellhammer of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Masonic Village at Lafayette Hill. She was 96 years old. Frances was born January 21, 1927 in Southampton, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Howard Klenk and the late Elsie Klenk (nee - Shorday). She is the beloved wife of the late Albert Schoellhammer; mother of Albert Schoellhammer and his wife Claudia and Fred Schoellhammer and his wife Susan; grandmother of Richard, Victoria, Katie, and Paul; sister-in-law of Helen Biehl.
Fran was born, raised, and educated in Southampton, PA. She was a graduate of Southampton High School and then worked as a secretary for the school until 1950. She married her husband in 1952. She was a hostess, secretary, and owner of the Schoellhammer’s Hatboro Manor restaurant. Fran also worked at Hanover Trails, Homestead Inn, and Springhouse Estates.
Relatives and friends were invited to her graveside service on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
