M. Dorothy Gring of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Rydal Park. She was 88 years old. Dorothy was born June 23, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John Marcus Ott and the late Mildred Dorothy Ott (nee - Robinson). She is the beloved wife of the late J. David Gring; mother of Diane Johnson and her husband Rich, Debora Flanagan and her husband the late Michael, David Gring and his wife Martina, Denise Sullivan, Donna Roussel and her husband Robert, Deloras Hemmalin and her husband Eric, and Dorine Rominiecki; grandmother of 25; great grandmother of 12; and the sister of Robert Ott.
Relatives and friends were invited to her Funeral Mass on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Church, Cheltenham, 7631 Waters Road, Cheltenham, PA 19012. Her graveside service followed at 11:30 A.M. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.
Religious services were conducted by Fr. William S. Harrison from St. Joseph Church, Cheltenham.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
