Anne Kaplan of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Keystone Hospice House. She was 92 years old. Anne was born May 15, 1931 in Xenia, Ohio, daughter of the late Dr. Perino Boone Wingfield and the late Margaret Wingfield (nee - Williamson). She is the beloved wife of the late Jerome Kaplan; mother of Lindsay and her husband Norman Eisen and Rachel Kaplan, grandmother of Tamar Eisen and Isabelle Dorvillier.
Anne trained as a ceramicist and held the roles of teacher, high school administrator, and arts instructor at University of the Arts in Philadelphia during her working career. Anne completed a masters degree in special education. She treasured and nurtured friendships with people of all ages and backgrounds throughout her life. Family and friends will miss and remember her with love and admiration.
