Martha G. Schneider of Southampton, Pennsylvania died Monday, March 20, 2023 at Southampton Estates. She was 90 years old. Martha was born August 20, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Willy Alfred Faulhaber and the late Anna Dorothea Faulhaber (nee - Knoell). She is the beloved wife of 67 years of Albrecht E. Schneider; mother of Richard Schneider and his wife Cyndi, and Roberta A. Vetter and her husband Steven; grandmother of Christian and Joshua Schneider. She was predeceased by her siblings Katherine Ihlenfeldt, Dorethea Haeusser and Werner Bauer.
Martha was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia. She was a member of the Tabor Lutheran Church in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia from 1943 until 1985 when she joined the Addisville Reformed Church in Richboro. Martha married Albrecht Schneider on November 10, 1956 in Tabor Church. She studied music at a conservatory in Germany and performed as a soloist in church choirs in the Philadelphia area. She was a purchasing agent for the Acts Retirement Communities for 11 years before her retirement. Martha was formerly of Souderton, PA, before moving into Southampton Estates in 2011. She was an active member of Addisville Reformed Church and sang in the choir.
Relatives and friends were invited to her memorial service on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. Friends were greeted at a reception which followed at Addisville Reformed Church, 945 Second Street Pike, Richboro, PA 18966.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Douglas J. Dwyer, Senior Pastor from Addisville Reformed Church, 945 Second Street Pike, Richboro, PA 18966.
