Clair L. "Moose" Sours of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Monday, May 4, 2020 at Philadelphia Protestant Home. He was 89 years old. Moose was born in 1931, son of the late John W. Sours and the late Helen I. Sours (nee - Duenger). He is the beloved husband of 66 years of Mildred Walton Sours; father of Shirley Cameron and her husband Dana, Steve Sours and his wife Teri, Nancy Virgili and her husband Frank, Sue Fox and her husband Rob, Tom Sours and his wife Christine, and Kurt Sours and his wife Maria; grandfather of 22; great grandfather of 30, brother of the late John W. Sours Jr., the late Joseph D. Sours, and the late Phyllis Kissinger.

Moose was raised and educated in Philadelphia and was a June 1949 graduate of Frankford High School. He met his love of his life in Junior High School. After serving in the Navy during the Korean War, he became an installer for Bell Telephone and Philadelphia businessman for many years. Clair was a long term member of Frankford Baptist Church and most recently an active member of Berachah Church.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 9:30 A.M. and memorial service at 11:00 A.M. at Berachah Church, 400 Ashbourne Road, Cheltenham, PA 19012. Relatives and friends were also invited to his graveside service on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11:30 A.M. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
