The following was composed by June’s family:
June Del Grippo, age 97, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2022.
She resided at the Masonic Home in Warminster for the past six years where she made many friends and was taken care of by a very warm hearted staff of kind, loving nurses and aides.
June was a hostess most of her working career and loved to be around people, which made it a natural career choice for her. June, along with her husband Marty, owned a restaurant “Capt. Marty’s Lounge” for many years in Philadelphia.
June was also an avid traveler. Throughout her lifetime she was able to travel to many different countries with her many friends from St. Peter’s, the Salvation Army, Community Elders, and the Ever Young Club that she belonged to.
June was preceded in death by her husband Martin Del Grippo.
She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Celia and his wife Jill, Robert Celia and his wife Diane and a daughter Carol Haughton and her husband Jim. June has five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and brother Charles Kleiser.
A memorial service will be held at St. Peter’s Church 3025 Church Road, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444 on April 23, 2022.
Guests are welcome from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Services will begin at 11:00 A.M.
