Friedhilde Lisa "Lisa" Beebe of Bronx, New York died Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Hudson Pointe at Riverdale Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was 67 years old. Lisa was born December 29, 1952 in Rastatt, Germany, daughter of the late Herbert Schnepf and the late Elfriede Schnepf (nee - Ganz). She is the dear cousin of Rudi (and was fond of his sons, Christopher and Matthew) and Erwin Trickel and remained close to several cousins in Germany and their extended familes.

Lisa emigrated to the United States in the late 1950’s with her parents. She grew up in Huntingdon Valley, PA where her father was able to buy a new construction for the family to live in. She was a graduate of Abington High School and continued her education with a degree from Moravian College and a Masters Degree from Lehigh University. Lisa loved to travel and lived in Thailand and Spain for several years. She was a free lance writer who published several travel books on Spain and interviewed celebrities like Billy Joel, Ray Charles, and Andrew Lloyd Weber. Lisa received certification from the University of Madrid, while living in Spain, to be a translator and used that talent to work for the New York court system and the United Nations. Another love of her’s was photography and would use her own photos in many of her publications. When she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 28 years ago, she was limited in her travels and retired in New York.
