Margaret "Peggy" Galloway of Ambler, Pennsylvania died Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Artman Lutheran Home. She was 84 years old. Peggy was born February 16, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Daniel Lyons and the late Margaret Lyons (nee - Woulfe). She is the beloved wife of the late Len Galloway; mother of Thomas Messina and his wife Charlene, Stephen Messina, and the late Laura Messina; grandmother of Stephen Messina, Megan Daniels and her husband Will, Jennifer Judge, Tara BeVier, and Ashly Judge; sister of Mary Heffernan and her husband Bernard. She is also survived by her 11 great grandchildren.

Peggy was born in Philadelphia and was raised in Wyncote, PA. She attended Notre Dame school in Wyncote and was a graduate of Little Flower High School for Girls in Philadelphia. She worked for many years for MG Industries as a supervisor in charge of their accounts receivable and payable. She retired in 1999. She was a longtime resident of 221 Roberts Avenue in Horsham until moving into the Artman Home in 2018.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Monday, September 14, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham, PA 19044. Her graveside service followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Joseph F. Rymdeika from St. Catherine of Siena Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Montgomery County SPCA, 1006 Edge Hill Road, Abington, PA 19001.
