John Michael Palumbo of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Friday, January 17, 2020 at VITAS - Nazareth Hospital. He was 60 years old. John was born October 12, 1959 in Abington Township, Pennsylvania, son of the late Salvador J. Palumbo Jr. and Dolores “Dee” Gatward (nee - DePretis). He is the brother of Frank, and Greg Palumbo, Bridget Stein (nee Flaherty) and her husband Billy, Ellen Titano and her husband Anthony, the late Thomas Flaherty II, and the late Salvador J. Palumbo III.
John was born, raised, and educated in Jenkintown. He worked as a delivery person of stage plays. John traveled around the country meeting all types of entertainers, producers, and folks in the theatre.
Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anselm Church, 12670 Dunks Ferry Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to American Cancer Society, 1818 Market Street, Suite 2820, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
