Lawrence "Larry" Schuck of Rockledge, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Hospital Hospice after a long battle with stomach cancer. He was 67 years old. Larry was born April 20, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Henry Schuck and the late Katherine Schuck (nee - Hutelmyer). He is survived by his older brother Henry. He was predeceased by his sister Mary and brother Francis.

Larry was born in Philadelphia, but grew up in Cheltenham Township, PA. He was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and Temple University. He was a practicing CPA for many years.

Larry was a United States Army veteran who served in Korea in the early 1970’s. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Ogontz Volunteer Fire Department in Elkins Park, PA.

He fought a long and valiant battle with cancer, and wanted to especially thank his good friend and caregiver Dennis Fisher who took time from his work schedule to transport Mr. Schuck to the many hospital and doctor visits that cancer patients must endure.

Relatives and friends were invited to a calling period on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 9:30 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Military honors rendered by the United States Army and a graveside service followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Ogontz Fire Company, 8215 Old York Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027.
