James L. Foulke of North Wales, Pennsylvania died Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Temple University Hospital. He was 85 years old. Jim was born July 21, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Ronald Foulke and the late Elsie Foulke. He is the beloved husband of Joan Foulke (nee Wetzel); father of James Foulke and his wife Ellen, Douglas Foulke and his wife Debbie, and Glen Foulke and his wife Carrie; grandfather of 6; great grandfather of 6; brother of June Nelson and her husband the late Stan, Donna Sims and her husband Al, Ruth Casey and her husband John, John Foulke and his wife Susan, the late Marlyn Beck and her husband Paul, the late Peter Foulke and his wife the late Ruth, and the late Elaine McLaughlin and her husband the late John.

Jim graduated from Upper Moreland High School in 1954 and was inducted into the Upper Moreland High School Sports Hall of Fame in January 2014 in recognition of his sporting accomplishments. Professionally he was a master electrician and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 98. Joan and Jim are longtime members of Bucks County Seventh Day Adventist Church. His hobbies included building model ships, fishing, golf, and being a snow storm chaser.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. His graveside service followed at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.

Religious services were conducted by Pastor John Pifer from Parkway South Seventh Day Adventist Church, 9 Roosevelt Boulevard, Marmora, New Jersey 08223 and Pastor Joshua Plohocky from Bucks County Seventh Day Adventist Church, 10 Greene Road, Warminster, PA 18974.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
