Pamela Mayer of Manheim, Pa. died Wednesday April 1,2020 with Richard by her side. Pam was born on February 17,1953 in Philadelphia daughter of Joseph Hassinger and Theo Hassinger (nee- Bailey). Pam is the beloved wife of Richard, married September 17, 1983. Pam is the step-mom of Tina Bruce of Florida and loved Nicole Perry of Colorado as her granddaughter. Terry Wogelmuth is Pam's lifelong best friend.
Pamela's brothers and sister are Kenneth, Karen, Ronnie, Joe and Forrest. They grew-up in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia and graduated from Olney High School. Pam's early employment was with Mrs. Smith Pies and Breuninger Daries, she retired from Lockheed-Martin Corp. after almost 30 years. Many hours or hard work were spent at Tabor Deli working with Richard.
Pam and Rich enjoyed camping at World End State Park and of course vacationing at the South Jersey Seashore. Cooking was Pam's joy especially family occasions and baking Berta Mayer's recipes for hazelnut torte, vanilli-kranzeln and indianer shaum-torte and schamrollen.
A limited graveside service, short and appropriate for the times, was held at 1:00 PM Friday April 3, 2020.
