Mark William Trush of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly Friday, June 5 at his home. He was 65 years old, born February 2, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Walter Trush and Mary Trush (nee Wilkins). He is the beloved husband of Karen Trush (nee Gilbert), father of Jared Trush and his wife Allyson (nee Eickhoff) and son Kyle Trush, brother of Robert Trush and his wife Karen (nee Segelitz), brother-in-law of Ralph Gilbert and his wife the late Regina (nee Matusiak), Jean Hawkins (nee Gilbert) and her husband Skip Hawkins and Shirley McVey (nee Gilbert) and her husband George McVey. Many nieces and nephews also survive him.

Mark was raised in Northeast Philadelphia. He was a graduate of Father Judge High School. He earned a Certificate from the American Institute of Drafting, Associates Degree from Bucks County Community College, and a Programming Certificate from Penn State.

Mark worked 42+ years at Honeywell in Ft. Washington, Pennsylvania, beginning his career as an artist, then writer, programmer and lastly technical support. He was active in Habitat for Humanity, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Special Olympics, Rebuilding Together and Child Fund where he adopted a Vietnamese daughter.

Mark was loved by all and will always be remembered for his happy spirit, his quick wit and legendary cartoons and artistry.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. His graveside service followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. William S. Lange from St. James Church, 8320 Brookside Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027.
