William Larew Diegel of Rockledge, Pennsylvania died Friday, June 19, 2020 at his home. He was 81 years old. William was born December 14, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Frank Wilhelm Diegel and the late Mary Amanda Diegel (nee - Larew). He is the beloved husband of Lorna Diegel; father of Donna Diegel and Ellen Diegel; brother of Maryann Maher.
William was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia. He graduated in 1955 from Frankford High School. William and Lorna were married in 1962 at the Memorial Presbyterian Church of Fox Chase. They raised their girls in Rockledge. William was a volunteer fireman, fire police, President and currently Vice-President of the Rockledge Volunteer Fire Company and worked on the planning commission in Rockledge Borough. William enjoyed model trains, and had quite the store of trucks, trolleys, and trains.
Services will be private.
