Robert W. Meile of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Keystone Hospice House. He was 73 years old. Robert was born October 29, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Reinhold Meile and the late Esther Meile (nee - Jeffrey). He is the beloved husband of Dorothy; father of Matthew and his wife Tara and Chris and his wife Melissa; grandfather of Nicholas, Ava, Dominic, Luke, Aubrey, and Julia; brother of Joseph, Steve, Michael, Cheryl, and the late Ronald. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Robert is a long-time member Steamfitters Union Local 420.
Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at Presentation B. V. M. Church, 100 Old Soldiers Road, Cheltenham, PA 19012. His graveside service and military honors rendered by the United States Army followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
Religious services were conducted by Fr. William S. Harrison, Pastor of Presentation B. V. M. Church.
