Brunhilde Magdalena Pahlke of Trevose, Pennsylvania died Monday, November 29, 2021 at her home. She was 93 years old. Brunhilde was born February 9, 1928 in Grönenbach, Germany, daughter of the late Wilhelm Fichter and the late Philippine Fichter (nee - Angele). She is the beloved wife of the late Heinz Pahlke; mother of Margaret Diaz and her husband Santos, Phyllis Pahlke and her good friend Janet Marshall, Karin Wagner and her longtime friend the late Carl Hannah, Linda McCellan and her husband Darryl, and the late Anita Pahlke; grandmother of Irene, Amber, and Vincent Johnson, Jared and Joslyn McCellan, and Samantha Diaz; great grandmother of Tré Miller and Davion Johnson-Hill; sister of the late Elfriede "Frieda" Hnatkowsky and her husband the late Michael Hnatkowsky Sr.

Hilde loved playing card games and board games with family. She enjoyed visiting the casinos in Atlantic City, NJ. She was a good cook. Hilde was loving and friendly to everyone and was always welcoming and generous to all.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. and memorial service at 2:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Interment will be private.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Jane Marston, Pastor of Tabor Lutheran Church, 4860 North Howard Street, Philadelphia, PA 19120.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134.
