Peter Paul Pettinato of Oreland, Pennsylvania died Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. He was 89 years old. Peter was born February 3, 1931 in Abington, Pennsylvania, son of the late Vincenzo Pettinato and the late Theresa Pettinato (nee - Talese). He is the beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Wright) Pettinato; father of Connie Markey and her husband Frank, Cynthia Cathcart and her husband Wayne, Peter Pettinato, and Christine Pettinato. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Peter was raised in Willow Grove, PA one of eight children. He is survived by his four sisters and one brother. Peter attended Abington Schools before joining the workforce. He was employed for many years at Keasbey and Madison in Ambler. He later worked from 1963 until his retirement in 1996 for Selas Corporation of America. He and his wife celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary in October of 2020. When Peter was younger until his late 70’s he was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing, hunting, baseball, and golf.

Religious services were conducted by Fr. Jason V. Kulczynski from Holy Martyrs Church. Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 9:30 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Martyrs Church, 120 Allison Road, Oreland, PA 19075. interment was private.
