Werner K. Siegle of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Jefferson Health Hospice at Warminster. He was 81 years old. Werner was born January 18, 1939 in Berkheim, Germany, son of the late Karl Siegle and the late Martha Siegle (nee - Reuter). He is the beloved husband of Elke Siegle; loving father of Tanya Greene and her husband, Jeremy; adored grandfather to Elizabeth and Kathryn; brother to the late Horst Siegle and wife Gretel; Uncle to Karl Siegle and wife Sandy; great uncle of Chris, Erik, and Candace Siegle.
Werner immigrated to the United States in 1959 and served in the United States Navy in the 1960’s. He worked for the Budd Company (now Thyssen Group) for over thirty years in Automotive Quality Assurance. He was a member of the Herman-Humboldt Lodge No. 125 F. & A.M. for 51 years. Werner also dedicated much of his life to the Cannstatter Volksfest Verein where he served in numerous roles including club President for many years.
In his retirement, Werner enjoyed the role as Opa to his beloved granddaughters where he spent countless hours showing them unconditional love and that nothing in life is impossible with a calm, true determination.
Services were private due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Cannstatter Volksfest Verein, 9130 Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA 19114.
