Joseph George Hager III of Horsham, Pennsylvania died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. He was 73 years old. Joseph was born January 19, 1947 in Abington, Pennsylvania, son of the late Joseph George Hager Jr. and the late Lillian Edith Hager (nee - Greenig). He is the beloved husband of Gale Hager; father of Joseph G. Hager IV, Nicole Hager, Lisa Parsell and Gwen Englert; grandfather of Megan and Sophia Englert; brother of the late Donna Garrison.

Joe was born, raised, and educated in Abington, PA. He was a proud 1965 graduate of Abington High School and continued his education at Temple University Technical Institute. Joe enlisted in the United States Army in 1969 and served honorably during the Vietnam War. He was discharged in May 1974. He worked for over 42 years as a Application Engineer for Rexnord Corporation. He and Gale were married May 16, 1992 at the Wayside Chapel at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. In his free time, Joe enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Iron Pigs. He also enjoyed Photography and trips to Ocean City, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service with military honors rendered by the United States Army on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.
