Richard Joseph “Joe” Rossiter of Warminster passed away on February 6, 2021 at Abington Jefferson Hospital. He had just turned 91 years old. Joe was born on February 1, 1930 in Philadelphia to the late Henry and Mary Rossiter (nee Ferguson). He was preceded in death by his brothers Henry and John and sisters Midge and Catherine.

He is survived by nephews Robert Rossiter (Deborah), David Shakian, William Rossiter and Edward Rossiter (Nancy) and nieces Cathy Gonzales (Angelo), Patty Quinn (Michael), Barbara Baker (JR), Dottie Fesmire (Albert), and Diana Patterson (Gary). There are also many grand nieces and nephews and numerous great grand nieces and nephews.

Joe served in the US Army as a radio-operator during the Korean War. After his discharge, Joe earned his degree and became a draftsman at GE where he worked until his retirement.

Joe enjoyed his many grand nieces and nephews. He would take them for walks, play catch with them, attend many of their baseball, basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball games, piano and dance recitals and gymnastics which kept him busy for many years.

Relatives and friends were invited to his Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Nativity Of Our Lord Church, 605 West Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974. His graveside service and military honors rendered by the United States Army followed at 11:30 A.M. at St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA 18914.

Religious services were conducted by Nativity Of Our Lord Church.
