Valerie A. McNamara of Warminster, PA passed away at her residence on Sunday, February 7, 2021. She was 79. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Vernon and Margaret Force. Val was a 52 year resident of Warminster. She graduated from Girl’s High School of Philadelphia in 1959. Val enjoyed ice skating, ballroom dancing, travel, art and a good laugh. She was the beloved wife for 52 years to Joseph McNamara; devoted mother of David McNamara and wife, Kathryn, and daughter Valerie Casabona. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Church, 1795 Columbia Avenue, Warrington, PA 19876. Her graveside service followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Joseph C. Bordonaro, Pastor of St. Joseph Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation Trisomy 21 Program, PO Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178.
