Earl Albert Longstreth of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at his home. He was 72 years old. Earl was born May 22, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Earl I. Longstreth and the late Alice Longstreth (nee - Creger). He is the beloved husband of Jean Hulton (nee Scroppo); father of Earl R. Longstreth and his wife Kimberly, Colleen Showmaker and her husband Jason, and Erin Papsun and her husband Robert; stepfather of Jennifer Hanley and her husband Rich and the late James Hulton III; grandfather of 13; great grandfather of 3; brother of Robert Longstreth and his wife Maryann, Alice Longstreth and William Longstreth.

Earl was a proud lifelong resident of the Rockledge area. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1967 and served as an infantryman during the Vietnam War, where he was awarded an Army Commendation Medal and a Purple Heart. He was honorably discharged in March of 1969 with the rank of Sergeant. Upon his return from Vietnam, Earl co-founded Longstreth Leasing trucking company with his father and brother, where he served as owner and president. Earl enjoyed golf, traveling with his beloved Jean, playing shuffleboard at Breen’s and spending time with family and friends.

Services were private due to Covid-19 Pandemic.
