Joseph F. Caligiuri Sr. of Rockledge, Pennsylvania died Monday, February 22, 2021 at Jefferson Health Hospice at Warminster. He was 93 years old. Joseph was born November 28, 1927 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Frank Joseph Caligiuri and the late Grace Caligiuri (nee - Natoro). He is the beloved husband of the late Bernadette Veronica Caligiuri; father of Frank Caligiuri, Vincent Caligiuri and his wife Jeanette, Joseph Caligiuri, Jr. and his wife Eileen; grandfather Beebe of Ryan, Nicholas, Alex, Dylan and Nicole Caligiuri; Philomena Glowka and her husband Francis; he is also survived by his granddogs Gizmo and Angel, and a loving extended family.
Joseph was born and raised in South Philadelphia, a graduate of South Philadelphia High School. In 1964 he moved to the Burholme section of the city and would later relocated to Rockledge, Pennsylvania.
Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. and services beginning at 12:00 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. His graveside service followed at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
