Elizabeth "Betty" Wilson Savidge of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania passsed peacefully Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her home. She was 89 years old. Betty was born April 15, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Charles Joseph Wilson and the late Sadie Marie Wilson (nee - Gardner). She is the beloved wife of the late Richard Savidge; mother of Richard, Beth, and Robert Savidge; grandmother of R.J. and Ashley Savidge; great grandmother of Kaylee and Isaiah.
Betty was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia where she graduated from Little Flower High School. She was employed by AAA for 20 years. Betty married Richard J. Savidge on June 13, 1953. Betty was immensely proud of her family. She enjoyed the Jersey shore, the Phillies, the Eagles, and family dinners; especially on the holidays.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Her Funeral Mass begain at 10:30 A.M. at St. David Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Her graveside service followed at St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA 18914.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Matthew P. Windle, Pastor of St. David Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
