Robert A. Baus of Southampton, Pennsylvania died Monday, March 1, 2021 at Holy Redeemer Hospital Inpatient Hospice.  He was 86 years old.  Robert was born December 27, 1934, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Adolph Baus and the late Hilda Baus (nee - Reiter).  He was the beloved husband of 44 years of the late Suzanne M. Baus; Father of Kathryn S. and her husband Brad Bastedo and Robert J. and his wife Jennifer Baus.  Grandfather of Andrew Bastedo, Elizabeth, Emily, Katie and the late Joseph Baus; Brother of the late Ruth Ceran.
Robert was raised, and educated in the Lawndale section of Philadelphia. He was a graduate of Northeast High School in Northeast Philadelphia.

Robert was a retiree of Bell Telephone after 41 distinguished years starting as a lineman and repairman and working his way up to management. He served honorably in the United States Army. He and Suzanne met while she was a musical student of Robert’s mother. The two were married on December 27, 1958. They raised their family in Churchville Pennsylvania. In his younger years Robert enjoyed tennis, bodybuilding, tinkering with cars and electronics, dancing, and photography in his free time. In his later years he enjoyed following the Eagles and Phillies, reading mystery novels, playing online bingo, birdwatching, and staying in contact with family around the world and his friends from his youth, the Lawndale Lads

A memorial service was held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday March 6th at Bethany Lutheran Church at 1125 Parkside Avenue in Ewing, New Jersey where Robert was a member for many years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1125 Parkside Avenue, Ewing, NJ 08618 or a charity of your choice.
