William Carl Burgher of Chalfont, Pennsylvania died Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Doylestown Hospital. He was 75 years old. William was born September 13, 1945 in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, son of the late William A. Burgher and the late Katherine Burgher (nee - Horn). He is the beloved husband of the late Loretta M. Burgher; father of William C. Burgher and his fiancée Karen Ann and Eric D. Burgher and his wife Colleen; grandfather of Danielle, William C. III, Shane and Payton Burgher; great grandfather of Lavender Grace-Starrlett and Tucker Greyson.

William was born, raised, and educated in Willow Grove, PA. He was a 1963 graduate of Upper Moreland High School. After High School, he enlisted in the US Navy and served honorably during the Vietnam War. William was a machinist for many years. Loretta and William met at the local bowling alley on Willow Grove as kids. They were married December 27, 1967. They raised their sons in Chalfont, PA. William enjoyed spending time in Northeast Pennsylvania where he was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. His graveside followed at Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn, PA 19001.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to American Lung Association of PA, 625 N. Governor Printz Boulevard, Suite 2, Essington, PA 19029.
