Hope E. Spencer of Lansdale, Pennsylvania died Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Abington-Lansdale Hospital Jefferson Health. She was 70 years old. Hope was born July 11, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Harry Bratzler Jr. and the late Margaret Bratzler (nee - Abby). She is the devoted mother of John W. Spencer IV (Jennifer Williams) and Audrey M. Spencer (Elijah Worthy Jr.); grandmother of Stella and Olivia; sister of Matthew Bratzler, Harry Bratzler and his wife Debra, Rita Ulmer and her husband Tom, the late Marie Devlin and her husband Tom, and the late Mark Bratzler and his wife the late Mary Beth Bratzler; long time companion of George Walker. She is also the dear niece of Rita Lees.

Hope was raised in Rockledge and was a graduate of Abington High School. She ran a working farm and bed and breakfast in Nova Scotia for 15 years while raising her two children. While in Nova Scotia she taught catechism classes, was active in the 4H, and sewed everything from her families clothes to costumes and prom dresses. Hope also enjoyed traveling and doing family research on Ancestry.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 9:30 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Avenue, Ardsley, PA 19038. Her graveside service followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Lawrence F. Crehan from Queen of Peace Church.
