Carol M. Smith of Warminster, Pennsylvania died Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. She was 82 years old. Carol was born February 22, 1939 in Ovid, Colorado, daughter of the late Christopher J. Ruhl and the late Catherine Ruhl (nee - Schiel). She is the beloved wife of the late Roy M. Smith; Mother of Roy A. Smith, Sr. (Sherry) and Brenda Smith. Grandmother of Roy A. Smith, Jr., Edward Smith and Tyler Smith. Sister of Catherine Roby, Bernard Ruhl, Christopher Ruhl, Susan Pentecost, the late Francis Ruhl, and the late George Ruhl.
Carol was raised in Tuson, AZ. She met Roy Smith while he was stationed at the nearby Air Force Base. The two were married and raised their kids in Roy’s hometown of Willow Grove, PA. Carol enjoyed sharing the functions as a Shriner’s wife, she especially enjoyed her Bingo nights. Her favorite pastime was spending quality time with the family.
Relatives and friends were invited to Carol and Roy’s graveside service on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 1:30 P.M. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
Religious services were conducted by Fr. Joseph Okonski.
