Fred Rosenblatt of Jenkintown, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. He was 59 years old. Fred was born May 9, 1962 in Abington, Pennsylvania, son of the late Kenneth C. Rosenblatt and the late Elsie Rosenblatt (nee - Bareis). He is the beloved brother of Wayne G. Rosenblatt and Joseph E. Rosenblatt and his wife Debbie; uncle of Rebecca Rosenblatt, Eric Rosenblatt, and Rachel Rosenblatt.
Fred was a graduate of Abington High School and East Stroudsburg University with a BS in Computer Science where he was a member of Alpha Chi Rho fraternity.
Fred enjoyed overdecorating his house for Halloween and Christmas and setting off too many fireworks for Fourth of July. He loved vacationing and fishing with his brother Wayne at LBI, NJ every summer. Always active, he enjoyed fixing and tinkering with anything that was broken.
Fred volunteered with Citizens for the Restoration of Historical La Mott installing and maintaining the Camp William Penn Museum in historic La Mott. He enjoyed giving impromptu tours and promoting the organization's special events.
Fred was a loving and caring brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all.
Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. and funeral service at 11:30 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Owen Griffiths.
