Catherine Majewski (nee Rissling) left our world unexpectedly on May 28, 2021. Cass was born to Margaret and Ernest Rissling in South Philadelphia. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Mount Carmel grade school and St. Maria Goretti H.S. She went on to raise her 2 daughters in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia. She spent 35 years working for Holy Redeemer Health System.

She was one of 7 children. Survived by her twin sister Joan Rissling (Harry Gedling), sister Margaret Pomeroy (Al), and brother Joseph Rissling (the late Paula). She is predeceased by her brothers Ernest and Harry Rissling, and her sister Marie Pratt.

Her beloved daughters Christine Majewski, Megan Hanejko and son in law Chris will deeply miss her. Her precious grandsons Jack, Ryan and Brody were blessed to have had such a wonderful Nan. She also left behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cass was an easy spirit to love, and she loved with all her heart. She opened her door and her heart for everyone. Her children and grandchildren were her world.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewings Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Friday, June 4, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
