Michael F. Hood passed away unexpectedly from ongoing medical complications on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at his home. He was 40 years old. Michael was born January 23, 1981, son of David L. Hood and Christine Hood (nee - Beahm). He is the beloved husband of Kylie Dawn Hood (nee Emery); father of Emery and his beloved dog “Hank”; brother of Geoffrey Hood and his wife Tiffany and their children Colin and Mia. He is also survived by a great group of friends who have been together since childhood.
Mike attended Upper Moreland High School and Temple University. He was an avid sports fan and followed all of the Philadelphia sports teams. Mike was a baseball umpire and was active in the Upper Moreland Little League. He enjoyed playing baseball and golf and loved listening to music and podcasts. Mike had a big heart and loved being an uncle to Colin and Mia.
Relatives and friends were invited to his Celebration of Life on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at New Life Presbyterian Church Glenside, 467 North Easton Road, Glenside, PA 19038.
